Community Service

At The Atlanta Academy, giving back to our community is a vital component of our student’s education.  Each grade level participates in a service project throughout the year.  Organizing food drives, donating to Toys for Tots, and participating in the St. Jude Math-A-Thon are just a few of the projects our students are proud to be a part of.  Middle School students volunteer by serving lunch to the seniors at the Roswell Senior Center on a weekly basis. We are also privileged to have a member of the Roswell Police Department teach a Community Outreach class to our Middle School students.

Evergreen Initiative

The Atlanta Academy has adopted the Evergreen Initiative Program. This program helps foster ecological awareness in our immediate community and our world, and teaches our community about the impact individuals may have upon the environment.  The Atlanta Academy is making strides in becoming and staying “Green”.  Through recycling programs, creation of outdoor classrooms, walking trails and planting beds, we are teaching our students the importance of taking responsibility of their environment.
