Atlanta Academy's faculty and staff focuses on providing opportunities that will prepare our students as the next critical thinkers, creators and problem-solvers. We help students learn fundamental academic lessons, as well as encourage them to grow in practical areas such as decision-making, independent thinking and personal responsibility.
A student's academic and personal progress is our key to a well-rounded education. It is important to help our students understand daily and practical applications – both at school and away from school. The faculty and staff dedicate themselves to assisting the students in the development of their character and academic standards, preparing them for overall success.
Our faculty joins us from a range of backgrounds, cultures and experiences. We incorporate their knowledge into the curriculum and provide them with a number of growth opportunities throughout the year. These workshops, such as Readers' and Writers' Workshop training at Columbia University in New York, NY, enable our faculty to continue to utilize relevant and useful teaching tools that keep our students engaged and excited.
