The Atlanta Academy, located in Roswell, is a private school teaching Pre-K through Eighth Grade. The school achieves academic excellence by providing an individualized approach to learning through small class sizes and a structured, nurturing environment.
The Atlanta Academy was created by a group of parents and teachers united around a shared vision of a non-denominational private school that would promote diversity and value development while offering a high standard of academics. This vision has allowed us to create a multi-cultural, Christ-centered environment that teaches children to respect themselves and the differences of others. The ability to accept appreciate diversity creates a secure atmosphere in which children feel free to learn and grow as individuals to reach their full potential.
In keeping with this philosophy, The Atlanta Academy admits students of any race, religion, color and national or ethnic origin.
Our students are also expected to accept responsibility for their own actions and be aware of the example they set for others. We integrate classroom activities with guidance counseling and community service to build character and positive self-esteem through the joy of achievement.

The Atlanta Academy is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), the Georgia Accrediting Commission (GAC), and is a member of the Georgia Independent Schools Association (GISA).
